Leadership & Staff

  • Born and raised in Sonoma County, I am proud to live, work and raise my children in this community. I appreciate that my education and career path in the nonprofit sector has led me to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. It is the work of our community, with a daily goal of doing better, doing more and giving to those who need a bit of help, a smile and someone to share their story.

  • I’m grateful that my decades-long career in both corporate and non-profit marketing and development has allowed me to inspire investment in causes and communities I care about. It is a privilege to be raising my family in Sonoma County and to help neighbors in need through my leadership role with the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Hunger relief is truly at the core of my personal mission to improve access to education and healthcare for all. Let’s end hunger TOGETHER.

Development Team

  • After over a decade of fighting food insecurity abroad, it has been the greatest joy of my career to turn my passion into impact right here at home in Sonoma County and help put food on my neighbors’ tables. My love for philanthropy comes from the gratification of connecting people to the causes they care about and helping them make a difference in the lives of others. I’m inspired every day by the generosity of this community, and by the incredible team I get to work with.

Philanthropy Team

  • Before I had the privilege of joining the Redwood Empire Food Bank team, I was a faithful donor and believer in our mission. I have worked in the area of finance for a number of for-profit companies for over 30 years. The opportunity to contribute here has been the most rewarding years of my career.

Finance Team

  • For over a decade, I’ve been fortunate to call Sonoma County my home. My decision to transition into a career that supports this wonderful community has been incredibly fulfilling. Using my 20+ years of experience in marketing and communications to ensure families in our area have food on their tables is truly rewarding. Every day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute alongside such dedicated colleagues, and knowing that our collective work directly helps those in need is the greatest gift I could ask for in my professional life.

Marketing and Communications Team

  • Sonoma County has been my home since 1988 when my husband and I relocated from Washington State. Our love for Northern California, Sonoma County and this community runs deep in our souls, surrounded by family and friends and this beautiful landscape.

I’m proud to call myself a Hunger Relief Worker, who also works in the capacity of a leader in this organization. With my 20 years of experience as an Operational professional in the for-profit space, it’s gratifying and rewarding to put that experience and knowledge into the work that we do here to end hunger in our community.

Operations Team

  • As a lifelong Sonoma County resident, I cherish this community and all it has to offer. I am grateful to build my career at the Redwood Empire Food Bank, where I help strengthen our community every day. With a passion for logistics and operations, I am dedicated to ensuring our work creates a lasting impact for those we serve.

Supply Chain & Analytics Team

  • For the past 25 years, I’ve been fortunate to call Sonoma County home and to raise my family in this vibrant community. My professional journey began during the telecom start-up boom in the North Bay, where I gained invaluable experience and eventually launched and managed my own business. Today, I find it deeply fulfilling to apply my skills and background to enhance the efficiency of our operations team, supporting the mission that drives our organization. Being part of a dynamic, high-performing nonprofit dedicated to helping our neighbors in need is truly inspiring.

Facilities, Fleet & IT Operations Team

  • I knew that leaving a 15-year teaching career where I contributed to the community and created rewarding relationships would require finding a new place to continue this type of work. A connection from education led me to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Initially managing the diaper program, my role evolved as my strengths became applicable to various aspects of our work. Now, I’m thrilled to be in partnerships, collaborating with non-profits aligned with our mission to end hunger. I feel fortunate to work with fabulous people in an organization that does extraordinary things for our community.

Partnerships Team

  • As a Sonoma County native, giving back to the community for which I live and work is both gratifying and rewarding. I worked in the for-profit space for over 20 years prior to joining the Redwood Empire Food Bank team and I’m grateful to be able to use that experience to support our neighbors in need. It is a great honor to be a Hunger Relief Worker and help positively impact our community.

People & Culture Team

  • My dedication to giving back and my background in public health led me to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. I value our work in breaking food insecurity cycles in our community. Every day, I’m surrounded by colleagues, volunteers, and supporters who genuinely care about our neighbors and work to improve each individual’s quality of life. I’m proud to lead our efforts and be part of this community.
